Landscapes of Dreams 2019, Spain, Barcelona

An immersive 360º digital plaza

A magical atmosphere fills the plaza of the C.C. Diagonal Mar, where fantastic landscapes envelop visitors in an immersive and unique space.

For the major renovation of the Diagonal Mar shopping centre in Barcelona, Necsum has designed a digital experience with a great creative and artistic component. From the design of the digital elements to the art content, all the pieces have been conceived and created to give visitors an immersive art experience. The plaza is the heart of the centre, where 360º lintels and a central transparent totem over 18 metres high stand as the main visual attraction. The dimension and impactful digital art content creates in the visitor the need to share that moment in their social networks, which for us is a great weapon of free publicity. Technology is only a means to generate these experiences, content, creativity and interactivity are the real keys to generate fantastic environments of great visual impact that can become true viral phenomena. A magical atmosphere fills the new plaza of the C.C. Diagonal Mar, where fantastic landscapes envelop visitors in an immersive and unique space. Two rings and a totem of more than 18 meters dress the redesigned center square with technology, but the experience continues and connects with the rest of the mall through a deconstructed digital piece integrated into the interior façade. A digital design made to measure and at the height of the new image of the center. Since the creation of this immersive digital experience in the central square of the shopping centre, the number of visits has increased. The location and the fact that Barcelona is one of the most touristic cities in Europe, has made it a digital hotspot for what is now known as "digital travel" - those who travel to other places to see the best digital art installations.
