Porcelanosa Grupo is a leading Company specialised in building solutions. For its XII Architecture and Interior Design Awards, they tasked us to design an entire solution. The purpose of the competition is to select the best presented projects that has used different materials from the eight Porcelanosa Group companies. The main purpose is to promote the creativity activity of new and future professionals, encourage the promotion and exposure of their work and innovate in terms of architecture, strengthening their new proposals.
An stage, that combines technology and materials was designed. The concept is based in the deconstruction of the roman number corresponding to the XII edition of the Architecture and Interior Design Awards. The stage content worked as a dynamic background and combines different textures of four materials in which the concept is based. It also integrates Porcelanosa Awards branding and event’s sponsors. During the event, a live music performance by Leo Aldrey and Jon Corcuera took place. The performing was enriched by a multimedia show with customized creative content and controlled lights around the venue, in which we counted with the invaluable collaboration of Tigrelab Studio. The result was an immersive experience synchronised with live music. Stone, wood, glass and metal. The performing of these materials is the guiding theme of the piece and it is related to geometric shapes which merges into the stage design. In synchrony with live music, the materials transform themselves and are mixed through different steps creating a unique experience.
